elecell Inc. Selected as One of Fortune Korea's Top 40 Korean Healthcare Innovators

To help bridge gaps in the U.S. healthcare sector and promote international collaboration, BDMT Global, in partnership with Fortune Korea, has selected elecell Inc. as one of the Top 40 Emerging South Korean Healthcare Innovators.

This initiative identified outstanding Korean healthcare technology companies capable of addressing unmet needs and disparities within the U.S. healthcare system. Companies were evaluated based on their innovation potential and commercial viability in areas that are currently underserved.

elecell’s wound healing patch was recognized for its novel approach—moving beyond traditional treatment methods that focus primarily on infection prevention and pain relief—to a solution that shortens the healing time of chronic wounds and promotes functional recovery. It received high marks for its clinical impact and commercialization potential in the U.S. market.

Among the seven highlighted companies in Fortune Korea’s report, Elecell stood out, and Professor Ny’Nika McFadden of Texas State University, one of the judges, specifically praised Elecell, stating:

“Wound care for diabetic patients is critical, making this solution truly innovative. It has the potential to improve medical infrastructure for better wound management, reduce infection and scarring, and enhance overall patient satisfaction.”

Moving forward, elecell will leverage both its participation in BDMT Global’s U.S. Market Access Program and the exposure from Fortune Korea to accelerate its global market entry and strengthen its international collaboration networks.
